Hydroelectric power generation

One of the cleanest ways of producing power is hydroelectric power with one large dam, and it could be also the most expensive if applied on a large scale due to loss of large areas of land and relocation of people living in that area caused by flooding of the land.

There are many possibilities of using the same water sours and build many smaller dams without the impact of flooding large areas for the purpose of electrical power generation.

It’s time to start thinking “Grid Independence ”

Wherever possible there should be arrangement made to utilize small streams for micro power stations, even if it only supplies power to that small village around the corner, benefits are; reduced hydro electric lines, loss of power due to hydro line resistance and complete blackouts if coupled to the main grid.

The possible eco-friendly alternative energy sources are;

Solar
Wind Power
Geothermal
Tidal Power
Hydroelectric
Bio Fuel

Solar power is renewable. The Sun will keep on shining, so it makes sense to use it.
