Biofuel
The production of BioFuels.
Recent research suggests that emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) to
produce biofuels are NOT enough to offset the advantages
that biodiesel was hoped to have in terms of Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
emissions.
Biofuel crops actually increase, rather than lower, net greenhouse
gas emissions.
Nitrous oxide (N2O), apart from carbon dioxide, is a major greenhouse
gas.
Nitrous oxide per mass unit has 310 times more impact on global warming
than that per mass unit of carbon dioxide (CO2).

Food or fuel?
Something is very wrong with this picture: The United
Nations' World Food Program has been hit so hard by skyrocketing grain
prices that it may be forced to cut off some food aid to the world's
poorest countries, while the United States is planning to turn record
quantities of corn into automotive fuel.Read

As long farmers can make more money growing cops (with
government subsidies) for biofuels they will do so and in he mean
time, you pay more at your grocery store and aid to under developed
countries is cut by 40% due to insufficient supply of corn, wheat
or rice.

Our need for fuel.
It’s not how, or can find alternative energy sources;
it’s how we can conserve energy and develop an energy source without
depleting what we have and need.
Food for fuel is not an option; 20% of earth’s population is depending
on foreign aid to fill their belly.
Electric cars; is our hydro grid equipped for that? There will be tremendous
blackouts if everyone plugs in at the same time.
Hydrogen; This can be produced at our electrical plants in of hours.
(Quebec will be the new Alberta in energy supply thru hydroelectric
power which will be converted into hydrogen)
